ugly crying

I went and saw My Sister's Keeper last night. I started crying about 10 minutes into the movie and was still crying 10 minutes after the movie was over. I totally bonded with the complete stranger sitting next to me because she was hysterical with me. Kelly, my dear friend, does not have a soul and didn't shed a tear. Hmmmm...
I'm also ugly crying over our housing situation. I thought it would take months to sell and now that it has, we can't find anything to buy. It seems like everything we like already has 12 offers on it or is ridiculously expensive. It's becoming very emotional for me to think about leaving our home and all of our friends. I'm thinking that we won't be moving very far away because I can't stand the thought of not having my Desperate Housewives of Heatherfield Lane.

Sold

Well, it is official. Our house is under contract. We are moving. I am a ball of anxiety right now. I'm so excited for a new place and pretty much a mess about leaving my house that I've worked so hard to make home. I can't fathom how I will survive without my dear friends living right in the same neighborhood. But I am vowing that all my friendships will remain in tact!
The stress of trying to sell in this market is over and I am grateful it only lasted 8 days. It feels like confirmation that we are doing the right thing. Wahoo!

We love Molly

I'm always teasing Eric about how much he loves Molly. He takes her to get the mail every day. In the car. It's borderline crazy. Anyway, my mom sent this t-shirt to Eric and the kids have been fighting over who gets to wear it. Pretty funny.

Justin & Alison

My cousin, Alison, got married on Saturday. It was the most beautiful wedding I've been to. And Alison is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen!

Cameron was a pretty little flower girl with Luke and Adam as the 'ring bears'.

And Lacey's kids Tyler, Ali & Parker were also 'bears' and girls.
Ali & Cam have been having so much fun together. It's going to be sad to see them go tomorrow.
Dad & me
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Lord!!!

For the love of soccer

Not only are my boys terrible at soccer, they HATE it too. After a grueling soccer game Adam kept on saying, "Dad, tell Mom to sign me down. I want her to sign me down!" It took a few minutes to catch onto the fact that I had 'signed him up' so now he wants to be signed down.
Then later that same night Eric and I heard the boys chatting in their room. Luke said, "First we hate soccer and then we hate church."
Eric looked at me and said, "Wow, they must really hate soccer!"

Happy Birthday Nana Montana

I realize that this first picture looks like it's Adam's birthday. It's not.

It's Nana's birthday.
I asked SEVERAL times to get them to look at the camera, but some things never change. Here is the back of Robby's head, Gracee (Miss Teen Utah), Jeff and Eric. I'm sure it was a very deep conversation.
Question: What do you get a 53 year old Nana who has EVERYTHING for her birthday?
Answer: Make all (8) siblings go in on a ridiculously expensive pillow.

Happy birthday Nan! We love you!

ring bears

Me: "Come on guys, get in the car. We have to go to the dry cleaner."
Cameron: "Why?"
Me: "We need to pick up the boys' clothes for Alison's wedding."
Cameron: "The bear costumes?"
Me: "Uh....no. Why would they need bear costumes?"
Cameron: "Aren't they the ring bears?"
