bucket list

I have always envied my friend Kayley because she has so many things that she wants to do in life. She wanted to run a marathon in Hawaii and I was lucky enough to get to do that with her. She wanted to swim with Great White Sharks and she did that. Her list is long and already has check marks all over the place. I'm jealous.
My list of to-do's consists of: eat a waffle, take kids to school, pick up dry cleaning, get oil changed, pick kids up after school, make dinner (never with a check mark next to it), bathe kids, put kids in bed. I could just photocopy that list and use it everyday for the rest of my life.
I am going to be 30 on Sunday. 30? 30? 30! Why do I still feel like I'm 17? I've always thought that I didn't care about age, but this whole 30 thing has me freaked out. Just for fun, I want to compile a bucket list for myself and I need your help. I've been doing some online research and most people have a list of thirty things to do before you turn thirty, but they've been working on it since they were twenty something. Seeing that I only have 5 days till D-day and I will never jump out of a plane or eat earthworms or climb Everest, help me come up with a good list.
Specify whether the thing should be done before Sunday or before I'm 40.
Please do this for me - if you are reading this blog than you owe me a present anyway because of the whole eBFF thing. I'm expecting lots of comments. Thanks!!!

Ummm. . . my list goes something like this. Raise kids - have fun. Yeah, not too specific.

Here's an idea. I think you should participate in a Mrs. Utah pageant. You know, go along with your sister. Or go get a degree/certification in something interesting or fun. For me that might be culinary school (doesn't sound like it is your thing), but pick something fun whether you use it or not. I think you should do that by 35.

Let me take you out to dinner and a movie for your b-day. This doesn't have to be done by Sunday but maybe within the next couple of weeks.

Also, go on a girls vacation (with me of course) this year.

I like this game. All of this benefits me! I could go on and on...

I think that you should write that book that you have mentioned several times before...
Not before Sunday, but maybe 35ish...
30 isn't so bad, according to Steve it's the promised land - I am still waiting to be totally convinced of that. You will instantly feel more mature and ready for anything that comes your way! ;)
Love ya! You need to come see my baby, that could happen before Sunday! ;)

Our (Craig & My) list includes things like see the Tour de France in person, see Michael Jordan play in person (check), attend Olympic games (check), see Tiger Woods play, got to Wimbledon etc.

Things that are once in a life time opportunities. Ha ha, I just realized that all of the ones that I mentioned are sports related...the whole list ISN'T. ha ha

Good luck!

Do you know where you are moving to yet?
I hated turning 30! I feel like kids age you 10 years for each kid you have! I will never feel young again!
I've always wanted to go hang gliding or para gliding. Let me know if you go, and I'll go with you!
If you have a boat...have you ever tried parasailing? It is such a rush. We used to have a boat and a parasail; I used to do it all the time :)
Good luck and happy, happy birthday!

How about "visit Washington DC" or "see the Liberty Bell in person?" Or even "visit sister who lives on east coast" would be a good one.
