gogans

My boys have a freak obsession with all things creepy. So what's better than going to a skeleton doctor? This little guy sits on one of the desks at Adam's orthopedic surgeon's office.

Adam had a routine check-up and all is well with his scoliosis. He's starting to think it's really fun to have pictures taken of his own skeleton. I think Luke gets a little jealous that he doesn't ever get to go, but he'll get over it.

I had a friend in my last neighborhood who always used the term 'gogan' to describe her kids when they looked a little sloppy (being unpolitically correct 'white trash'). I wasn't ever quite sure if that word was some kind of slur that I didn't know, so I've never used it...until now. My kids are downright gogan!! (please let me know if this actually is offensive - I really don't know for sure) I'm so sick to death of messy hair, snotty noses and dusty clothes!! Since I can't cut off their noses, I cut off their hair! Shaved it, to be exact. Now my snotty, dusty boys are running around looking like little cancer patients. But at least they're in good company. They've adopted a triplet, Riley. Don't they look like they could all be brothers?

I love the shaved heads. That is what my boys have almost year round. Well Bode's hair just falls out so I have to shave it and Cooper hates to do his so I just shave it and it makes life so much eaiser. It goes well with the snotty noses and dirt all over the clothing.

I love the new hair cuts. On Thursday we drove by your house and Tyler yelled out "Hi Riley" but I informed him that was Luke on the porch. He says "Oh, where did his hair go? He has hair just like Riley." Isn't he perceptive. I'm debating if we should give him another buzz this summer. I still have a few weeks to think about it but he is starting to get a little scraggly.

I am glad that you will be down at the race next week, sad that you aren't running, but great for the cheering section! :)

I know what you mean by shaving their head and them looking like a cancer victim...I thought that exact same thing when we shaved Quinn's head two weeks ago...give them a little sun and it'll help.

I've been trying to convince my boys to get flat tops this summer. They're being difficult about it. Yours look adorable!!

I'm really hoping you come to lunch with us. I would love to see you again. ;)

Hey there...your family is so adorable! I can't believe how much they have grown since I last saw them! We should get Katie and Cameron together...all I hear at my house is Hannah Montana...She uses our table as a stage...Love the haircuts on your boys too! I really wish that I could do that sometimes!
