Knock, knock at my door.
Stranger Lady: "Um you don't know me. I was just driving past your house and saw your boys up in the window leaning against the screen. It scared me to death and I thought if it were my kids, I'd want to know."
Me: "Thank you for stopping."
Yes, this really happened. My boys were in their room with the window open, leaning against the screen. The screen is ripped, but thanks to the stranger driving by, they didn't fall to their death. Can this possibly be my life? That Mother of the Year award is just around the corner.

Are you kidding me!?! That is my worst fear. Remember that same thing happened to Rita!
This would only happen to you Laurie.
Don't tell me stuff like this.
Your boys were great yesterday, you'll have to ask me what happened when I took Luke to the big boy potty.
How scary, thank heavens for that nice stranger lady. The thought of that makes me freak out for you!
Oh my gosh! That could have been REALLY dangerous...One of those things you wouldn't even think about preventing, until a stranger comes knocking on the door....;)
You don't know me (lol is there an echo?), but I can totally relate. As the mom I three boys I'm always getting gray hair before my time. A few weeks ago my 1 & 3 year old managed to get out of the house while I was "going potty". When I came out of the BR, my NEIGHBOR was standing in my bedroom with my kids. I screamed and then I cried when she told me they were on my front sidewalk! ACK!
I think you & I are both top contenders for MOTY! Yours trying to test the laws of gravity & mine trying to take on cars...what a pair! Thanks for sharing!
wowza!
yes...you'll have to ask martha what happened...i saw the tail end of it...quite silly!
Wow what a scarry moment. How nice for that lady to stop and tell you.
