Mystery solved. Apparently I shouldn't brag about my handyman work just yet. I came home this afternoon to a sweltering house AGAIN! So I checked everything AGAIN. Found that the breaker switch outside had been flipped off. So, being the sneaky mom that I am, I sent the boys out to play and when they were least expecting it.... I ran out and caught them in the act of turning on and off the breaker! Oooo they are in big trouble! So I padlocked the breaker box. I am now taking bets on how long it will take before they learn to pick the lock. Any takers??
