100 things about me

Brace yourselves. This is a long one. I was just tagged to do a "100 things about me." You all know how much I love doing those cheesy getting to know your friends surveys - this is along those same lines. And now that I'm doing it I have to tag more blogger friends. So LACEY, COLLEEN, EMILY, ALISON - consider yourselves tagged! And anyone else who reads this (probably nobody) you do it too!!

100 things about me -
1. I always have my toe nails painted. ALWAYS.
2. The smell of fresh flowers reminds me of death.
3. When I'm alone anywhere I feel so self conscious that I'll pretend to be on my cell phone just to avoid looking at people around me.
4. I love high heel shoes even though they make me nearly 6 feet tall.
5. I'm jealous of the cute clothes that Cameron has. How sad is that?
6. I yell at people who don't stop at the stop sign in front of my house and speed through the neighborhood.
7. I love girl time with my friends more than just about anything else.
8. At Cold Stone I always get the same thing - cake batter ice cream with brownies and caramel....yum.
9. I don't like going to my own birthday parties.
10. I love labor and delivery and the stay at the hospital.
11. Maui is my favorite vacation spot.
12. I secretly want a job, not full-time, but just something outside the house.
13. Retail therapy is very real for me. (just ask american express)
14. I bought a shower curtain with blue birds on it last night.
15. Sarah Agnes Prine is my hero and she's a fictional character in a book.
16. My son Luke was named after a character in another book.
17. Target is my mecca.
18. A route 44 diet coke with limes from Sonic can make my whole day better.
19. I will only buy Asic running shoes.
20. Painting is very therapeutic for me.
21. I want a tummy tuck to finally be rid of all the ugly stretch marks.
22. I am terrified that I'm a bad mother and I'm ruining my kids.
23. I don't take off my makeup before going to bed.
24. My ipod is one of my all-time favorite things.
25. Driving is not something I'm good at. Or parking. (just ask the lawn mower)
26. I finally feel at home, here in my house.
27. Eric calls me Laurinda T.
28. He calls me Holly when I loose my voice. Apparently, Holly is my sexy alter-ego.
29. I wish I'd gone to college.
30. I like to run but hate everything else about working out.
31. I ate 3 lofthouse sugar cookies for breakfast. :(
32. I wore a dress to school every single day from Kindergarten through second grade.
33. I always wanted to be Glenda from the Wizard of Oz.
34. I don't like fruity desserts. Fruit is healthy, therefore if it is present, it's not really a dessert now is it?
35. Yesterday I felt sorry for Paris Hilton for a millisecond when she got out of jail just to be taken back a couple hours later. Don't get me wrong, I want her in jail.
36. I went to a Brittney Spears concert in November 2001 and I still listen to her music.
37. I hate Coldpay, Sting, Neil Diamond, Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry, Creed and all those kinds of bands.
38. I'm in a country music phase right now. Loving Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Katherine McPhie.
39. There's a guy that works at the pharmacy I go to who flirts shamelessly and although I suspect he's popping pills in there - it still makes my day! Disclaimer: It's the drive-up window and when you have a van full of kids, anyone flirting is flattering.
40. I am sometimes too blunt. I wear my feeling on my sleeve. It's hard for me to be fake.
41. When I don't have the kids in the car I listen to Emenem and ACDC.
42. I'm scared of horses.
43. Cats give me the creeps.
44. I don't like traveling. All the crowds and airports make me nervous. But road trips are fun.
45. I HATE to be kept waiting.
46. In middle school I had to lead the pledge of allegiance at an assembly and I started out by saying, "we are daughters of our Heavenly Father who loves us" it's the Young Women's theme.
47. I clean when I'm mad and paint when I'm stressed.
48. I went to the grand opening of IKEA and stood in line and everything.
49. The smell of tires makes me physically ill. It dates back to Paige's 10th birthday when I got car sick while going to get Paige's new bike.
50. I have a crush on Pacey Whitter from Dawson's Creek.
51. I wash the sheets on my bed obsessively.
52. I'm sick of Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives but I LOVE the Real Housewives of Orange County on WE and I love Project Runway and America's Next Top Model.
53. 30 Rock is my favorite sitcom.
54. I sluff Sunday School a LOT. But I go to the rest of church.
55. I'm still intimidated by Relief Society.
56. A few weeks ago I hit Eric's car for the third time and didn't tell him. (Don't worry, I highly doubt he reads my blog)
57. I wish that at least one of my kids had brown eyes.
58. I have a blanket that I won't share with anyone. Not even Eric.
59. I like writing in a journal (or blogging, whatever)
60. I love playing games, especially card games.
61. Scrapbooking is a waste of time
62. I don't like teenagers, with exception of my young women. Most teenagers are spoiled and rude and have a sense of entitlement.
63. Being a stay-home mom is much harder than I thought it would be.
64. I gained 35 pounds in 5 months and wasn't even pregnant. It was because of a medication that I am not on any more! The weight is coming off now - thank heavens.
65. 100 things about me is hard to come up with - I'm getting bored with it.
66. Eric already discovered the dent in his car. (apparently he does read my blog)
67. I love chick flicks - can't wait to see 'Knocked Up'
68. I compulsively weigh myself several times a day, even if I'm not trying to gain or lose weight.
69. I miss my grandpa every time I make toast.
70. I went to IKEA again tonight just to show Eric.
71. Once when I was pregnant with Cameron I stepped on a cricket (with bare feet)and it scared me so badly that I wet my pants.
72. Crickets are, by far, the worst creepy crawlies out there.
73. The smell of Escada perfume reminds me of Harrod's, in London, with all the Wimmers.
74. I wish I drove a Volvo XC90.
75. I actually drive a mini van that has more dents than I care to count and at least 17 gallons of pop dumped into the carpet and upholstery.
76. Nerds are my favorite candy.
77. I have eaten laundry soap, plain lemons and loads of A1 while pregnant.
78. Investigative journalism is my favorite tv - 20/20, 48 hours mystery, dateline etc.
79. I have a weakness for tabloids - I love a less than flattering picture of a celebrity.
80. I'm anxious to get this post over with so that I can go watch another rerun of Dawson's Creek on Tivo.
81. Tivo is the best invention EVER. (and ipods)
82. I'm addicted to sodoku.
83. We made it out of IKEA only spending $11 on wooden hangers. Bargain!
84. Before I knew I was having twins, I thought I was FOR SURE having another girl and her name was Caitlin Louise Wimmer.
85. Now I have Luke and Adam instead of Caitlin.
86. I also like the name Reese for a girl.
87. I'm done having kids.
88. I love to read, but struggle being in book clubs because I don't trust anyone else's opinion. I don't like being told what to read.
89. I promise that this is the longest post I will ever have on my blog.
90. Downy April Fresh fabric softener is my favorite smell.
91. I wish I could buy all my clothes from Anthropologie.
92. The only thing I really spend $$$ on is jeans. I love Sevens.
93. I never wear tennis shoes unless I'm actually going running.
94. I steal the crossword puzzles out of magazines in doctor's office waiting rooms.
95. My all-time most embarrassing moment happened at the U of U library.
96. I consider myself religious, but I don't like religious books. (excluding the scriptures, of course. that's riveting reading)
97. My mother in-law has planted 97% of the plants in my backyard.
98. '100 Years to Live' by Five for Fighting makes me cry every time I hear it.
99. I want a Dewalt drill for my birthday. I really like tools, weird huh?
100. I am grateful everyday for the people in my life who love me.
