Remember how I said the boys had tried to flush the ceiling fan remote?? Well the toilet was clogged and causing all kinds of problems for the potty training twins. After Eric tried to plunge many, many, many times and couldn't get it to work, I got out the snake toilet-cleaner-outer thing. I was so proud of myself for knowing how to use it! Anyway, I started pulling things out. First, a binki. Then a lid to a pen, my reading glasses and last, but certainly not least, my engagement ring and my wedding band!
We decided to go to Kelly's house for some wadding pool time. Kelly has the best backyard for kids. She's got a really fun swing set with a slide and sandbox. She has the shade thing with a picnic table. Things started off well, until Adam decided to throw the sand toys into Kelly's window well. Then Cameron melted down over a blue Popsicle. She ended up completely freaking out saying that she hates me, then got soap in her mouth. After about 15 minutes after we got there, we were leaving. I kept threatening Cameron that I was going to drop her off at the police station. But when we got home I cleaned out her bedroom of all toys and books. Now she has to earn them back using nice words and being helpful to me. It might take her 8 years, but hopefully she'll catch on.
Anyway, we're hoping for a better day today. So far they've only thrown their pajama pants over the fence and three balls down the window well. We're crossing our fingers!!

OMGOSH Laurie.....I know this is SO not funny.....but I am seriously laughing out loud. Only because this sounds so familiar to me. Mothers are DEFINITELY NOT given enough credit. Sounds like you had a crazy crazy day...but HAPPY DAY about all of the fun things found in your toilet. So what's the snake toilet thingey? I think I might need to get it. Chas lost his wedding band years ago....it just might be down there. Ooh..and binkies? I wonder if all of our sippies are down there too? LOL! Seriously..there has GOT to be a black hole in this house. Things are CONSTANTLY disappearing! Anyway...hope tomorrow is a slightly more mellow day for ya!!!! And Happy Father's Day to your hubby!
