Bad Weekend

What a terrible weekend we had. Not only did Adam have the stomach flu, Eric got it too. But Eric was running a race while he had it! He had the hardest leg of the Wasatch Back Relay and was barfing his guts out through the whole thing. But he did really well anyway. Cameron will tell you that he won the race because he got a medal! She so proud of her daddy.

By yesterday afternoon, everyone was feeling better. Then we got a call from Paige saying that her little sister, Ereka, and brother in-law, Jordan, had gotten in a terrible accident. Ereka was our babysitter all last summer, for those of you who don't remember her. She and her cute husband have only been married for about 2 weeks. Jordan was life flighted to University Hospital and Ereka was taken by ambulance to Jordan Valley hospital. The guy driving the car that hit them died on impact. It was so scary! They are both doing well. Ereka was released from the hospital last night, but Jordan will be in for about a week. They both have all kinds of broken bones and cuts all over them. I'm still in shock that it happened.

I'm glad they're going to be okay. It could have been much worse.
